Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in the Drama Series. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School, before her family relocated to Ohio in the late 1970's. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a period in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before attempting TV and movie parts. Anna was cast as Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. After appearing as a Guest on several TV shows and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue during the 90's She was then given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully was another of her characters. Gunn is also a part of the the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, which is a four part audio podcast set in 2022. The story of Breaking Bad is determined by the love story between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The degrading of this relationship is similar to Walter White's final years.
